Visit the Slavic Village in Brandenburg an der Havel. On a tour of the village you can experience a developing replica of a middle-Slavic settlement. You can discover the construction techniques, various types of houses and craft equipment, tools and agricultural implements of the period. Touching and photographing allowed!

Try it yourself, for the whole family

After a brief introduction to the life of the Slavs in Havelland, experience the life and work of the people about 1,000 years ago. In the developing Slavic Village visitors can try out trades such as pottery, clay buildings, baking, weaving, spear throwing and archery and even see how they lived together in a middle-Slavic settlement. The tour into the past comes to an end at the fire, with tea and sausage, on bread or rolls freshly baked from the oven.

A wild life

Strengthen your team, group or club with a fun and sporting experience of history. After announcement of the rules by the village elders in the Brandenburg an der Havel Slavic Village the hordes are divided and the horde leaders sworn in. Then the hordes engage in combat sports against each other. The hordes measure their strength in archery, spear throwing, slingshot, target throwing and rowing in the "Dragomira" Slavic ship.
