The "Sonnensegel" association children and youth art gallery is an organization of cultural children and youth work. In the ongoing discussion about the different forms of art, children and young people are encouraged to be creative and understand artistic expression as a means of reflection on life and society, whereby the innovative potentials of youth are to be accepted and supported. The gallery offers weekly classes in graphics, painting, sculpture, literature and new media, also project days and weeks, exhibitions, readings, discussions and other artistic activities. Most of these activities take place in the old Latin school and the adjacent clubhouse of the "Sonnensegel" gallery at the Gotthardtkirchplatz in the old town.
The Gutenberg printing store allows the club to add a few special highlights to the range of artistic and practical offers. This facility offers children and young people the opportunity to experience "an adventure" with the old and nearly extinct craft of printing with letters and other printing plates in the tradition of the artist HAP Grieshaber.
