The Church of the Holy Trinity is the parish church of the Catholic Church in the town of Brandenburg an der Havel, and the centre of the ensemble with rectory, parish hall and kindergarten. The church was built from 1849-1851 in the round arch style and as the oldest Catholic church after the Reformation in the city of Brandenburg an der Havel, has both urban and ecclesiastical importance. In 1945 the church was largely destroyed and rebuilt in 1947-49 in a simplified form. After the redesign of the interior in 1972-1973 the church has been readjusted since 1994 to the structures of 1950 in several renovation steps. Winning a contest carried out in 2004, the London glass artist Graham Jones designed 13 windows with motifs following the concept of "From Dark to Light - The Creation".
